Started fishing at about 10:30 and fished until about 5:00pm Wind started at about 7 mph and was blowing 15+ at 5:00pm. Started fishing south of Keaton in 4 - 6ft of water with only a couple of shorts. The grass beds there did not look good. They were covered in some sort of fluffy looking algae balls. We tried around there until about noon then headed north of Keaton and started some more drifts. Water was clearer in spots and the grass looked better. Still pretty slow fishing. Managed only three keeper trout 21", 20" and 15" between the two of us. Released about 13 short trout. Most fish were caught where it was semi-clear water with good looking grass in about 3-4 ft of water. We fished with strait jigs on bottom, CTs with jigs, and CTs with cut and live bait. All keepers caught on cut bait. Did see a school of Redfish that looked they were go 15-25lbs each swim infront of us, the circled around my CT with cut bait and then the left before I could try and throw something else. That was in about 2 ft of water.

Us neither. But we thought we would give it a try. No luck, as you said we headed north after that. I think where we caught those fish was about 2-3 miles south of Spring Warrior
