Been there with the family and the kids will have a great time. Lots of siving specimens to touch. Lots of "hands-on" things for the kids to enjoy.

Like wevans said.... I've been in the bay with 3's & 4's and it's not fund at all..

Took a group of scouts Saturday and folks were parked 2 miles on either side of it. Looked like you couldn't move in there. Decided to go to the little aquarium in Panacea and look at it on the way back. Not much change on the way back. Is it open any other times for tours?

It was real busy but with the number of activities everybody was able to do everything.

No but the lab has a new director and this was her first experience with an open house event. A big part of the labs mission is education and outreach so the number of folks there is an obvious measure of opportunity. Let's hope it results in more public access programs. I'll certainly weigh in for it.

If there are any more tours, let me know. I wondered why there were so many people. Didn't know this was all that rare of an event.
