Sorry, I'm at a loss. :smt017

Explain what, jelly made with jalapeno peppers? :smt028

For hot sauce fans, this stuff is great on all kinds of meat. :thumbup:

Not so great on a PB&J. :thumbdown:

We were buying hot pepper jelly for, I think, $4 for a 10 oz. jar, and I was going through it pretty fast, so she tried making jalapeno pepper jelly. She said it cost less than $2 to make three pints.

I don't see how my question could have been clearer. Now I'm sorry I asked.

Ohhh, my bad, maybe someday I'll learn to read English. :oops:

1/2 cup Jalapeno Peppers, Finely Chopped
5 cups Sugar
1 1/2 cups White Vinegar
1 pkg Certo Premium Liquid Fruit Pectin

Boil sugar and vinegar.
Add peppers, boil again.
Add Certo.
Optional-You can add a few drops of food coloring for color, red or green.
Pour into Mason Jars and seal.

The wife tells me this step is extremely important.
Wash your hands thoroughly before you rub your eyes. :smt010
<Personally, I thought it was pretty funny. :-D >
