Went over to the spot on the west side of Goose Bay that I like, for about three hours this afternoon. Bright and sunny with a few scattered clouds. Wnd out of the SSE hard enough to keep the bugs at bay, but not hard enough to make casting against it with a baitcaster impossible. I was somewhat surprised at how clear the water was. Got there as the tide was still rising and left when it started to fall, but before it got going good.

The red was the second fish and hit a 52M26 MirrOlure. The 52M ran too deep, as I suspected it was going to when I tied it on, for conditions and kept getting in the grass, but the red wanted it anyway.

The trout hit the same color Catch 2000 about an hour earlier.

I left at 5:30. Considered staying until sunset and fish the falling tide, probably would have caught more, but I've found this to be the effective limit for this spot. What I mean by that is, the slot red is not unusual and many times reds from here will be over. The over 20 trout is not unusual, but I think I may be able to recall one time that I caught a slot trout here.
