Got a chance to go to the lake Saturday evening. Bite was slow for a while then we hit a spot and tore the fli bream up on curly tail gigs with ultra light tackle. Ended up with about 25 or so.

I started to go sat eve but held off, and then the wind layed down.
It's time for the curly tail jig to be pulling in those fliers, heard that friday morn some guys did good the first hour of daylight with the jigs on fliers.
Time for crikets and a fly rod for the tittybrimfs.

Now that's the kind of fishing, I miss down here on the coast. I've only wet a hook a half dozen times in the past 2 or 3 months in the salt. Only caught a few small trout in the bay and mostly shorts in the deep water.
I need to get up on the river, soon.
Thanks for the good report.
