Any thoughts from anybody with experience with these boats? The 18 looks like a good Big Bend inshore-sometimes-offshore choice. I'm gonna get something someday but so far I only know kayaks.

Litt..the Panga handles very well. I rode in one and it suprised me the way it rode and handled. My first opinion of the boat wasn't very good due to the way it looked. I believe the one I was in was a 20 footer and we went offshore in it. I personally wouldn't own one because it limits the types of fishin I do, but overall it is a good boat.

I've only seen pics and read reveiws but they look good to me. The only thing is, they look a little narrow. Maybe it's because the freeboard is so high. I would like to ride in one before I buy my next boat.

Beam is narrow, which makes them efficient, but how does it effect rock/stability ??

Lit,
Never rode in one; but, I know Wefings sells them. They'll take you on a test ride if you're that interested.

Just from looking at them they don't look like they would have a lot of storage. I didn't see any in-deck boxes.
