That's the same date as a regularly scheduled club tournament. Will HHA be held in conjunction with the club tournament?

We will do HHA on June 10th. It is a scheduled tournament day, however, anyone who participates will receive 50 angler of the year points.
We will not be weighing any fish but we will return to JBT for a cookout and let the guest show off their fish.

Gentlemen -
I am seeing some emails flying around this morning indicating that we still need some more captains for the HHA event this year. If you can sign up or know somebody else you can encourage to sign up, please do so.
This is a great event that you will not soon forget. These folks only get 1 chance a year to fish.
Thanks in advance for any help.

It occurred to me that we failed to mention Rodbow at the meeting the other evening. I've tried to contact him but there is a message on his work phone indicating he's out until the 6th. He may be interested.

OK folks... we're sorta slip'n on this one. I know there may not have been as much communication as we would prefer but given the circumstances concerning change in organizers they're doing the best they can. We know what is involved and what needs to be done. The last call I had from them was this past Friday evening. At that point they had 32 anglers and 18 boats. I already had two folks and they were calling me to see if I could take a third. We need some more folks who have boats to step up and get involved. If you can help out, give Sandra Hunter a call 510-4018 (cell) or 3850-1079 (home) .... Here is an excerpt from an email that some of us received but probably did not reach everyone. If you feel led to get involved... get er done

You won't be sorry.
In addition, If any one would like to particiapte as a mate, I need someone who would like go. Thanks.

I am so grateful to Mike Scibelli and the N. Fl. Fishing Club for enthusiastically responding to our needs for HHA '06. Thank you for your commitment and big hearts. What a great service, and you know you will be blessed.
Thanks to John and Blan McBride for a wealth of information and many leads for the operations aspect. John has been encouraging and says "God has His hands all over this project" and says "things will fall into place." Getting off to late start due to uncontrollable circumstances has me a bit nervous. I am counting on Him to come through for all of these delightful Anglers I have been talking to on the telephone.
Thank you Rotary Committee; I am counting on you too.
Capital Rotary will be making sandwiches/bag lunches and Midtown has kindly offered refrigeration over night if needed.
I am planning a point of pick-up early Sat. AM South of town-probably at Publix/Crawfordville Hwy.
Mike Scibelli, would you please e-Mail, or send me E-Mail addresses of the Captains to find out if any Captains can a) Pick up any Anglers in your path, b) Add any more Anglers to your boat. We do not have an overwhelming # of wheelchairs that may take up more room; so there may be someone with good mobility that could join a W/C. c) Please be sure to have a "first mate" as you will surely need assistance: I can find one if you need one.
We have 32 Anglers committed and 12 Captains at this point that can handle 18 Anglers: please pray for, contact, or anonymously give me the name of any leads you may have for anyone else that can help us.
I will get together a report on Anglers that need transportation and group them by area. Thanks again to all. Sandy
