Aucilla 5-12

3 of us tried Aucilla today 5-12. Tide rising, went out past first pole and started fishing 3 ft. water. It was rough as a cob for a while but things calmed down when the wind layed some. We got 13 nice trout, biggest 21'' and lots of 18'''er's. Got a keeper flounder and big spanish also along with many sail and hardhead cats. Got the fish on r/w catch jr., white gulp shrimp, and rootbeer gulp minnows. Also a few on white grubs with shrimp. Another boat from Moultrie was there and fished the same area mostly with live shrimp. They had about the same luck we did. got some good fish. Tide high at 2 pm, bite stopped but wind picked back up and we headed for the dirt. Fun day on the gulf with 2 good friends.
