Early day at Econifina....

Up at 5am
to hit some daylight top water action on the glass smooth waters of the econfina... not to happen, wind about blew my teeth out, and not the fronts the wisdom....
...
Terrible day early, when the wind died enough to get to some bars, I did manage a fat 27 inch 7lb red, and a undersized one before i had to scoot back home.... both on gold spoons... had the skitterwalk and super spook blew up on but couldn't hook up...
saw an interesting site, several hundred mullet in a creek, in several pods, with the tips of their head just sticking outta the water, didn't know what it was for along time... all were between 6-14 inches.. cast netted a couple larger ones for sampling....
I know you all know what one looks like- but here's the red that will be consumed tomorrow night.
