Re: Crystal River
Pa's right - I remember those days. It was a different mind set and people didn't see any harm in it. No telling how many river mullet my family ate that was dynamited in the Withlachoochee River. A generation before me could buy dynamite to use in blowing stumps for clearing fields plus fishing eve...

My brother fishes there a lot. Like anywhere else there are good days and bad. He prefers to fish out of Horseshoe. Last week he fish out of CR and caught one keeper trout. Go, you might like it!

Re: Any gheenoe owner???
We have one with limited use in the gulf and I pick my days. Never had any water to come over and have been in some rough situations. Big boats and large wakes made us buy our skiff. An air boat coming out of Dallus Creek almost swamped us once. I want to get a high whip with a flag on it before goi...

Re: Cobia advice Econfina area please.
Find some good bottom structure... Anchor up-current... Chum... Make noise... Use the biggest pinfish ya got... They'll find you. woop This I'd only add, put a pin on the bottom, free line one and put one on a cork. Also have a pitch rod ready with a jig, eel , or a good live bait. They are a great...

Re: Tackle Box Help
If you buy only one of everything that is 'HOT FOR THE DAY" you'll need more than one tackle box. I have about four just as full as they can be and need to buy another one. What may be on FIRE one day is cold the next. The only way out is to make a deal with your wife to buy a new bait only whe...

Re: 4/20/16 report from St. Marks
Sounds like you do just fine without other reports but I know what you mean. You had a good day seems to me.
My report from the Keaton area is a couple went out at nine and had their limit by two thirty of nice trout. 3' - 5' water on new penny gulp, drifting.
I think the bite is on!
