Re: Boat Cover Suggestions
I bought one from Walmart two years ago and it's still going strong. Use a pack of bungee cords to anchor it to the trailer and it fits over the motor. Plenty of ventilation and mold free. I believe it's warranted for 3 years, just keep the receipt incase you have problems. I have a G3 1756 center c...

Re: G3 Question
Picked up a 2005 G3 1756, with a 70 two stroke, two years ago, my first boat. Own several fishing kayaks and never thought I'd own a boat. It's light, easy to trailer, easy to launch by myself, easy on the gas. Great boat!

Re: Custom Bimini Tops in or around Tallahassee
Take your boat down to Brett Shields, let him get the measurements and order one for you. Custom is the way to go.
I did one that's 76" high so that you can move around without having to duck going under it. Ran me about $500.

Re: Wacissa Water Level
The upper end is navigable, but low. The bridge looks like a spillway with at least a 1' drop. Was there last weekend. Thanks for the update, was there a few weeks ago so the level has dropped. Definitely call Wilderness Way. Sometimes a low level will allow you to scoot under some of the logs. One...

Re: Wacissa Water Level
I've found the best times to go are in the fall and spring. Summer will bring the bugs out and in the Slave Canal there is no escape. The water level is better than it has been, close to normal. The only question is how many pull overs you are going to encounter. Canoes can be a big pain in the butt...

The first tournament will be on 9 Feb. We just had a meeting to finalize most of the schedule this past Tuesday. Brian, our tournament director, has been slammed at work so as soon as he can get the schedule to me I will post it on the web. Tournament details will follow but it will basically be the...

Re: Another Wounded Warrior Ride coming thru Tally
We will be hosting this couple at our house tomorrow night and possibly thru Sunday morning. Currently they're bunked down at a fire station in Marianna. They will try to make Tallahassee on their own tomorrow but I'm on call to go pick them up if needed. They are self contained and have been spendi...
