Good report. Hope they are not extinct after your fishing trip, lol!
Sounds like you folks caught some decent fish and worked for them, too. Were you fishing natural bottom or man made structures?

Dog gonit Rhett, you must have been the only fella out there fishin! Gotta wonder if anyone here, fishes Indian Pass in small boats (less than 25'). That's been some nice weather out there this past five days. Especially within 10-15 miles of shoreline, with that light northerly breeze.

Nice mess, glad the sharks didn't ruin the day. Some fat black snaps (mangos to those folks to the south). Looks like it was decent weather to be offshore. Bet that young fella had a great time. Thanks for the post.

Re: Red Snapper season is off to a bad start
Yep, gonna be 5-7 straight days of crappy seas. NOAA WAVE WATCH 3 shows a tropical system visiting our Gulf waters by tomorrow and then wandering around for several days. Weather Underground also shows some similar paths. Maybe it will veer left and visit the lower Yucatan. Gonna need a big boat thi...

Kinda makes ya wonder how they will match up with other good teams???? Bama and Texas A & M are definitely two to watch for. LSU plays Texas A & M in about 3-4 weeks. Good luck Gators, those are some teams that are coming your way, too.

Re: Port St Joe to Apalalachicola
Well, I've been fishing a little down at the coast with another gentlemen. I'm retired and healthy enough to go fishing once a week, maybe even twice. Recently located some some rock around the Cape San Blas. Inshore fishing is fine, too. Always on time and always will kick in on all the expenses. F...

Yes, that report follows what a friend of mine is saying about Steinhatchee. Should be great daytime fishing once this full moon passes. Hope the rain that is coming, does not turn into a monsoon. All that fresh water in the Big Bend area will eventually help fishing.

I'll try Steinhatchee....... as soon as the east wind subsides. We'll slip offshore if the wind allows. Yes, the further south, the clearer the water. Should be much improved by mid Oct......... if no Tropical weather arrives.

Well, apparently many folks are interested in this post, with almost 700 views. I see only two folks have commented. Send me a private message and maybe I can help expand your fishin area? Gotta be some good fall fishing coming within the next couple of weeks. By mid Oct, Kings should be moving, as ...
