Re: Quick after work trip
Put in at Oyster Bay. Enjoyed a decent topwater bite for a couple hours. Lost at least one pig of a trout that did not like the taste of my hooks. Only picture of fish we took was the 22 inch trout but it's still on the camera at home. I'll get it up sometime after work. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14...

Re: Happy Ending - just sharing
Would be easy to catch oversized bulls on the fly rod over there. Could catch as many as you want with the right conditions.

Re: Some much needed saltwater therapy
Went East today. Reds were in an eating mood. Soft plastic was bait of choice. Caught 2, one at 26 and the other right over 27. The 26 inch fish tailed a little for me. Had one that wouldn't eat and another that my buddy messed up the shot on but the fish was tracking the lure and wanting to eat it....

Re: Feb 8th 2014 NFGFC Results
Sure wish this was a slot trout tourney. Trevor and I caught at least 30 trout between 16 and 19.5. Congrats to the winners!

Wanted: 60 lb boga grip
Looking into getting the 60 pound boga grips, but they are so expensive. Anybody got some they no longer want or know anywhere to get them cheaper than 220$? Thanks!

Louisiana
Took my Pops to LA to meet up with a former teammate and roommate from UWF that lives in New Orleans. What a weekend. Water was clean from all the cold fronts and the sight fishing was as good as it gets. In two days, my Dad and I caught more than 60 bulls in less than 3 feet of water. Biggest fish ...

Motor Trim Issues
Hello all and Happy Holidays! My motor is having some trim issues. For a while now, it has had the issue of sounding very weak and almost dead when I trimmed it up before towing it. It would always trim all the way up and then as I went up and down throughout the day it was fine, like it just needed...

Re: Bulls
A few from the Biloxi Marsh yesterday. All sight fished in about 2 feet of water with a few tailers and crawlers with their whole backs exposed. What a fishery! http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/13/y5yramy4.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/13/a2e9y6az.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/13/yrysa7ad...

First ever Red on Fly
Biloxi Marsh today. Caught on my buddy's fly combo. Maybe it's time to get one of my own! Just need to find a good deal!

Should probably post this in the out of area reports section, but I'm not sure many people would see it there. I've been enjoying my last few days in Pcola and getting on the water as much as possible before I move back to Tally for good. Also enjoying having teammates who love fishing as much as me...

Turkey Day Trout
Got out today with my Pops after we celebrated Thanksgiving with the family. Put in at the Fort around 3:00 this afternoon and fished until sunset. The fish are up in the rivers. We caught plenty of trout the whole time we were out, 7 were in the slot and came home with us. Fish were eating soft pla...

Re: Job Searching
Thanks Galantnole. This will be my 5th time playing at Rollins in my college career. We play them every year either at our place or theirs and have played them in the national tourney also. First time we played them this year we lost 2-1 at their place. Both teams had chances but they made the most ...

Re: Job Searching
You won't ever have to pay for a spot on the Mitzi Pops, you've earned it. At least one trip to the marsh is a must before the skiff comes back to Tally. Plan on arranging that after we win a national championship.
