Bob sands, slim beauty, Bimini to double cats paw, Bimini to Bristol, Bimini to uni/uni. Try them all til you find one you like and can tie consistently.

Re: Fish Finders / GPS combo, which one do you use and why?
I have a lowrance gen3. Love the scroll back function on the sonar. Second you can make your own maps (navianics plus does this as well). I like the unit, and it works well with my Suzuki. Whatever you get, buy a navianics platinum+ card for it. It's worth every penny. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapa...
New glass
Guys wanted to get y'all's opinion. I've been using the Costa 580g green mirror for about a year. Great lenses, just wondering if there's anything better. Been seeing a lot of Smith stuff lately. Whats out there that lets you see better when you're looking for fins in the shallows?? Thanks Sent from...

Re: Falcon LowRider Rods
When my uncle was still with us, he was a falcon pro. I've seen many rods from them and the changes that were made. Great rods. If I didn't have a great rod builder like Dom (southern custom) here in town, I'd be fishing them. For those of you that take wife/kids with you, the action s of their blan...

Re: NEW Inshore series! Southern Custom Rods
As an owner of 5 of his rods on a st Croix blank, I can honestly say they are the best rods I've ever owned/used. Dom's rods are an addiction. Once you get one, you will soon own many more!!! Hey Dom, where's my 2 new casting rods??????[FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]

Re: Thoughts on knots
Bob sands knot has never let me down. I've had 100# flouro stretch and break thanks to a Goliath. But the knot was still perfect

He can build on any blank you want, I can't see the extra $ for the sc4 or sc5.
