I posted "Friends" in the "Friends and Foes" tab.
Nothing came up. The names are not there.
Is this page(friends and foes) not running yet?
Did you use the "Find Members" link to look them up?

My friends are showing up just fine. Maybe you have no friends. ;-)

Makes perfect sense about the "friends" tab, but there should have been a LONG list for "foes" :smt044 :smt005

External links are working like you asked. Try the link in jsubser's signature above.
It works for me now. Maybe it was something where I had to go off the forum and then go back on for the changes to take place.

What about clicking on a topic (Off Topic, Inshore Reports, etc.)? On the older version, you could put your cursor in the vicinity of the topic, it would highlight it, click, and it would open up the topic. Now it highlights it, but you have to click the specific link for it to work.

Thanks for all you do!

Tom, Am I missing the email address associated with user profiles. For folks like AJ and ReelTherapy, their emails are beneficial in trying to get in touch with them to see where they've been.

It will take a while to get use to the actual posts disappearing among the signatures and headings.

I am still seeing the blue and black as almost pastel shades, which makes reading difficult.
Is there a "dark/light" adjuster anywhere.

When I view replied topics from my email, I no longer see it in a new window. It replaces the one from which I clicked (email page). Does that make sense?? Anyway, don't know if it's a BBF issue, or because I just downloaded Firefox 2.

Where are you looking for them? They are located on the user's profile page. Or you can click the email icon under their username.

That is a browser setting I think.

Nope not going to add that. I've other ideas that would cause issues with it. Sorry.

Tom, I'm looking everywhere. All I see is PM or ICQ for some.
On the User Console there is no place to put an email address that I can see... must be the 'nog, but I don't see any.?

Should be fixed. I had set emails to private.

Ok, here is one I have run into. The "view new posts" feature on the old board would show me the posts since I had last visited.

Apparently, a cookie was set to the last posts I had viewed.

Now, I get a big list even though I have already seen them earlier....

What am I missing here.....

This is the link I use:

http://www.bigbendfishing.net/phpBB3/se ... d=newposts" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Dubble
The more I know about something, the more I know that I did not know as much as I thought I knew that I knew.

Tom,

Is there any way to have either lines between individual posts or perhaps alternate background colors. The posts seem to run together to me now. Also the front page used to have a list of the most recent posts can we show that again?

Other than that looks great, Thanks for all you do!!

Merry Christmas All.
