Furuno Fcv 620 Question?

Post by Jhults11 »

My dad just put a new furuno fcv 620 on our boat last month and for the life of us we cant figure how to get the water temperature displayed in the top right hand corner where it should be. Tried calling furuno directly but say it will be 4 to 5 days before a technicion will call us back and help. Well,, its day 7 now and no call so I was wondering if anyone else has this unit seeing as it is popular one, and if so, any direction on how to get the temp displayed on the actual screen would be great...thanks...gettin ready for april..tight line......

Maybe a stupid question, but do you have the optional water temp sensor?

here is a link to the owners manual http://www.furunousa.com/products/produ ... sh+Finders

check and make sure in the data menu that you have to temp. display turned on

check the systems menu and make sure you have it set for proper temp. can be adjusted here

troubleshooting says to check the plug from the speed/temp to the unit

most likely you did something wrong but everyone makes a bad one now and then. I have the 600L and have never had any problems with it.
