Fishng this weekend?

Post by RHTFISH »

So....who's fishing this weekend? Where? How deep? Bait? There are requests for more details so please oblige!
Personally, I'll be somewhere between Rock Garden and Rock Island between the creeks and bout 10ft.

Hopefully, there will be a few left by then! :-D Usually a very busy weekend but Monday should probably be the lightest day for boats.

Well............my spots are closed and covered with oil. Boat is in Pensacola and it looks like she will be there a while. We are thinking of moving it over to my Uncle's place at Hilton Head for a change of scenery. Stinking shame about the oil.

I'll be down in titusville (hometown) for the long weekend... Maybe a few bull reds?! :D

I will be on the flats looking for Trout Saturday morning.Probably in JT's holes. About 4-6 feet. After the low tide at 9am and when there is enough water to get in there, I will be at the super secret, always produces, never fails, Redfish spot.

Going out of Yates Creek Monday. If I can get a boat cranked. Got four in the yard. Three and a half need work. I'm planning to use the half Monday. :-? Putting in shallow, staying shallow on the oyster bars for reds. Fishing with live Pins and cut bait. Fully expect to stay ticked off all day with all the idiots that have started showing up there lately. A dozen people sitting on upside down buckets on the ramp fishing with cane poles, and acting like you've insulted them when you ask them to move so you can launch. :smt067

Launching at the LH either Sat. or Sun. depending on thunderstorms.... I plan on working some "Honey Holes" then drifting the flats in 3-6ft. Baits of choice will be bone colored Spook Jr. and some various jigs. I am going to try to force myself to use a gold spoon a little. For some reason I get really bored with the Spoon, I know they are proven I just have a hard time sticking with them.

Good luck and stay safe.
