Believe it or not, I saw that setup back in the '70's. 2 guys from Arkansas were carrying 19' Ranger bass boats on top of their trucks and pulling 30' Airstream trailers.
What was I supposed to do today?

I've seen a number of truck with full on boats on top, being pulled behind an RV. I'm sure it beats triple towing.

Back when I had my motorhome, they called me the gypsy. 38' motorhome, then a jeep and then a boat up to 18'. Like chug said, you planned where you turned in.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!
