Seatrout Shootout Final Registration

Post by RedTrout »

There's still time to get registered for the Kevin's Fine Outdoor Gear & Apparel Seatrout Shootout presented by H2Outdoors. Originally scheduled for August 27th, the tournament was postponed due to weather until Saturday, October 1. A guaranteed purse of $5000 will be paid out to the top 10 teams weighing in the heaviest combined weight of (5) Slot Seatrout (15" - 20"). Just to keep things interesting, $250 will be given to the team who finishes in 17th place and $250 for the Redfish with the most spots.

If you would like to participate please stop by Kevin's and fill out an entry form. Entries must be received at Kevin's by the start of the mandatory captain's meeting (for all new teams) at 6:00 pm TONIGHT. At least (1) team member must attend the captain's meeting and sign the attendance sheet. Entry fee is $65.00 per angler and you can have up to (4) anglers per team. For more information please visit our website atwww.seatroutshootout.com or contact Brian Hurley at (850) 528-0553.

Let's hope we can get this one in. The NWS forecast definitely looks fishable:

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 77. North northwest wind between 10 and 15 mph

Man these H2O Outdoors/Kevins tourneys are doomed
for bad weather. Every one I have ever fished was like the perfect
storm
