CMC Jackplate not moving

Jackplate will not move up or down but i can hear the motor. Not sure if I should replace it again its only 2 years old, thanks for any info

replace it with a Bob's

have you kept the bushings lubricated

could be they are frozen up

happened to me

YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK THE OIL IN THE RESERVOIR , WON'T WORK WITHOUT OIL. THE CMC I HAVE HAS WORKED GREAT FOR YEARS, KEEP SHAFT LUBRICATED AND ALL MOVING PARTS. WOULD NOT HURT TO TAKE THE ELECTRICAL NUTS OFF AND CLEAN THEM AND REPLACE.

Ive had a cmc for 11 years now never had any trouble with it besides the selionds going bad ..but porters marine fixed that by mounting the selonids under the motor coweling
