Congrats to you and your son, Lizbeth. Along those lines, the former captain of our school's State Championship track team - Patrick Swain - just finished his first year at the US Naval Academy. He is my 6th runner to have attended a service academy. Those familiar with West Point, Annapolis, or Air Force know the first year is by far the toughest. If your only perception of this generation of kids comes from the crap you see on TV, I have good news: there are lots of superb youngsters out there. I have the pleasure of working with some great future leaders every day. Thanks to all you responsible parents for raising them right.
