Is it time for deer to drop their young?? I have a neighborhood doe that is laying in my backyard -- i think she is in labor?? She did the same thing last year, but it seemed it was later in the year?? Thanks

Now in my area which in normally a Nov Rut, fawns usually drop around the end of May, 1st of June.
Take a kid hunting or fishing and you will be rewarded.

Think thats about right for last year -- early June. She isn't real fat like last year, guess she was just hanging out, i have plenty for her to eat, and i think she feels safe here.
