Yes we were too shallow... Really rough so we could not get to the areas we really wanted to fish. Were stuck closer in at 80feet. I also think the front had the bite messes up.
Cigar minnows were the best bait.

I was thinking the same thing, BBG. I didn't think a 11 3/4" snapper was legal.
