Tough offshore this week

Fished out of C'belle Wednesday and Thursday, and it was tough finding fish. Fished out to 95' and of course was loaded up with the Extinct ARSnapper - but only one short Gag in two days. Sea Bass and other Snapper and a couple of Triggers at least provided some meals. We also got surprised by a school of Dolphin that came to the boat in about 80' - OK sized peanuts, but we only kept two. Beautiful live white bait, LYs and squid, but hard fishing. Biggest problem was NO Current! Especially on Thursday. You could drop straight down all day. Could have used a split shot, if it didnt take so long to get down.
