Coastal Conservation Association Florida has just released a new video explaining their mission and focus. It's very well done and narrated by Capt. Rick Murphy, Flip Pallot and George Poveromo.
Here's the clip:

Well worth the watch. If you love to fish in salt water, a $25 CCA membership is one of the best investments you can make. The organization has a long history of protecting the marine resources on both a state and federal level and every new member adds to the organizational strength. http://www.joincca.org
There are also state chapters in Georgia and Alabama (and also across the Gulf and up the Atlantic seaboard) for those of you live elsewhere.

Re: Wise Investment
This may not be completely true but it seems like the CCA sides with the Gulf Council on every decision they make .

The record doesn't support that perception. CCA is often at odds with the Gulf and other federal councils. The red snapper/sector separation issue is the latest example. In fact, the organization has gone to court over rules deemed unfair to recreational anglers and harmful to resource conservation.
