Tapatalk poll...

Post by bman »

I know some of you guys use the software for photos. I have tried to get the reminder removed if you don't have the software installed. It's suppose to go away if you select cancel; But it does not stay gone forever. I experience it as an intermittent problem on my iPad.
Their user report is not clear. It's hard to tell how many people have it installed versus how many people are actually using it

Trying to decide if it's worth keeping or just kill it ...

I for one love tapatalk. It's how I use the site. Allows me to post pics from the water easily.

I like the concept, the ads get on my nerves. It's the only way that I access the forum these days. But if you decide to kill it, I will just go back to the other way. Is there a cost involved?

Hate it, I've never considered posting anything while on the water. So don't know about that advantage. I stay off of my phone as much as I can while on the water.

Tried it, couldn't get the reminders to go away. It got on my nerves and I removed it.

I also use it to post reports at home. If you go to the app instead of the site no reminder. I go to the site for tides and stuff. But the reminder does not bother me then as I view the forums almost exclusively with tapatalk.

PITA. I won't miss it if you delete the software.

Whatever you think is best Barry, I will support it. I am so sick and tired of Facebook, I have decided to spend more time on this forum. I have had several folks PM me to welcome me back. That's what makes this group special.

I tried it, didn't like the ads and deleted it. Not for me, but others experience may vary.

I must have the old version of Tapatalk. No ads whatsoever. I use and browse forums that are Tapatalk compatible daily. Other non Tapatalks like GON and BassBoatCentral I used once a week.

Most recent version is 6.4.3

Fcka.net dropped it. Postings went down a lot. I use it for several sites and don't visit sites without it much. Check with suber.

Down for sure over there, but I don't think taptalk had much to do with that.
