A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
Entertaining the idea of something inshore in the 13'er tomorrow afternoon.... Choosing between the St. Marks or Lanark.... I haven't been out in ages, and missed the fall season; so I am a little out of practice. Where should I go, generally? I guess I'd be lookin' for some reds or trout..... Bottoms road for the first time? Nahh.. I think since it has been so long since I have been out, I ought to stick with some relatively familiar waters....
I guess the fish are gone from the Lanark docks and Turkey Point area....
If so, that means the St. Marks.... Then I wonder if I should leave the river.... With the little boat, I won't be trollin' for grouper...
Hoping to get out Sunday -- will put in at the Fort or Econfina. Will try a little grouper trolling if it ain't too rough. May go into a creek if a north wind don't blow all the water out.
I AM SUPPOSE TO MEET TIN-CAN, OR MAYBE IT WAS REDBELLY, OR MAYBE WEVANS, OR MAYBE IT WAS BIRD-DOG. I CAN NOT REMEMBER WHICH SO WHY DON'T ALL OF YA MEET ME AT THE FORT IN THE MORNIN ABOUT 5 AM. I WILL HAVE THE HEATER GOIN IN THE STARCRAFT SO IT SHOULD BE PLENTY WARM. ONLY TIME YA CAN USE THE HEATER IS AFTER YA CATCH A LEGAL TROUT OR RED. HA HA HA HA
