Skeeter22, his 9 year old son and myself hit Econfina about 8 AM and fished HARD all day. The day and the water could not have been nicer although the fish could have been. We only ended up with 3 keeper trout, 1 keeper Red, and a 16" flounder. Skeeters 9 year old put on the Redfish clinic and also a day long leason on how to catch rockbass. Had a great time and I will be back soon. I hope to post a picture of the fishmaster with his Redfish tomorrow.
I won't give up. I'll be back after them soon. Here's a photo of the Master and his catch. To rub it in, he gave me his Redfish since I could not catch one !!!

I've had a couple days like that with the kids. It's like the fish is waiting for me to give one of them the pole to tend to it a minute while I do any of about a million things keeping everyone going and happy and BAM tight line and a bent pole and I'm not the one holding it I feel your "pain"...

Absolutely and ate it tonight !!!!!!!
To see the joy on his face, making me take that fish cause I couldn't catch my own...Truth is, next time he may have to catch me another one. He seems to be much better at it than I am.
