The lake level is falling fast and will soon be down to winter pool. Not sure how much longer I'll get to chase these jokers, but trying to take advantage the time I have.
Found some fish up on a rocky bank feeding pretty aggressively while the sun was out and a couple of them had their backs out of the water! Water temp read 47.6 on my fishfinder so I was kinda surprised to see such behavior... but since this has been the latest time of year i've been chasing these guys I'd say they are trying to spend every minute gorging themselves for the winter and it's working! This is my biggest fish so far coming in at 13lbs on the boga....
I was so stoked from that fish I totally screwed up the next fish with some terrible casting and finally spooked him off.. I cruised down the bank some more and found another willing participate to try my offering.
Fun day on the water!
