Guess who's back

Post by LucWilliams »

I am back in town for summer. Will not be doing my usual amount of fishing because I am completing an internship this summer. Still gonna get on the water as much as possible. Today was my first full day back and I just had to get the skiff slimy after installing a casting platform on it last night. Mainly posting this report so that previous owner of my gorgeous Mitzi (Bailey) can get an update on the skiff. Althought my forecast last night said 5-10 knots, we had a steady 20 knot wind in our face all day. Made for a cold day on the water for college boys expecting to fish shirtless all day. The fish were hungry for hard baits and soft plastics and right where I expected them to be, that made it a little less cold. Did not find many trout. Reds were 30 and 26, got them on a double hookup. Lost another one boatside.

My two buddies I fished with go to FSU and I'll tell them to check it out. I'm finishing up my college soccer career and then will probably start grad school at FSU in December and will look into it then. Go Noles!

The Mitzi is looking good. Nice fish. Even happier to hear you are continuing your education. You will NEVER regret having that degree, even when you are as old as me.

Shirtless is one thing, but looking like you're a few threads away from being pantless. Read where Kenfly complimented the pair of reds and thought he was talking about your choice in drawers. See they got fish on 'em so guessing you're wearing 'em for luck.

Joking aside, love the rig, and sure some nice looking redfish. Thanks for sharing the report.

And on the note of the worn out shorts, trust me, 100% joking... appreciate paying for college will do that to a fellow. Got no rocks to throw on this one... just shy of 25 years out of college and I'm still wearing out shorts trying to save money. :smt085
