PCB wet slip for 20' CC

Post by Msteele »

Just joined the message board. Nice site! I was hoping someone could recommend a marina that I could keep my boat at for a good price. I have a 20' CC aluminum boat. I didn't want to take it back and forth from the condo. Plan to bring my cast net to do some live bait fishing for the week with my kids. Mainly fished SGI for the past few years. I have no clue here. Any pointers will be great. Thanks!

Try Pirates Cove or Treasure Island , they usually have some transient slips.

I'm looking for something further in the bays that supports smaller bay boats maybe. Thanks.

Bayside Marina is just north of Hathaway bridge in North Bay http://www.baysidemarinapcb.com/Location.html and Cooks Bayou Marina is a small place in East Bay http://marinas.com/view/marina/2550_Coo ... ted_States

Good Luck!

Cook's looks good. 44 minutes from condo.lol! I don't think it really takes that long. That's the kind of place I was looking for. Has anyone docked there before? Fishing good in that area?

The Cooks Bayou Marina owner's name is Lynn (850) 874-8300. The fishing is great for trout & reds just about anywhere there are grassbeds. We usually leave the bayou & head south and fish the grassbeds on both sides of the bay.

Thanks for the replies. I found a site that lists all boat ramps. I decided to use the smaller ramps offered in Grand Lagoon that is less than 3 miles away.

I just need some reports and I'm good to go. I'll post my trip when I get back week after next.
