New trailer advice?

Post by pcbayou »

We (I and my financial adviser to whom I am married) have just about decided that a new trailer for our 18'6" center console is the way to go. We're leaning toward all-aluminum, even though I hear that it costs more. Any advice? What's a reasonable price?

I have an Aluminum trailer under my Carolina Skiff. In the past I've had galvanized under other boats.
The AL trailer gets my vote, hands down. Zero Maintenance. As a matter of fact, when people see my rig they never say nice boat. They always say: Nice trailer!
Go figure.

There is a continental trailer for sale in the For Sale Section. Might work for you, looks nice.
