trout at the econfina

Might head down this weekend with the kids, any reports on where the trout are? I have not been able to find them in this heat. Or any rock bass or bottom fish?

Try out deep. They only come shallow early morning to feed.

We caught several on Monday and everything was deeper than 5ft

went Thursday and Friday ,tried all depth,s nothing but lady fish- puffers and catfish...one short trout..extremely HOT no breeze ,dead calm ,horrible 2 days of fishing but not crowed maybe three or four other boats... :smt010 :smt010 :smt010 :thumbdown:

We caught our fish over toward the Aucilla. How deep did you fish? What color lures?
