He's had a great career and is going out on top, maybe with another World Series ring if the Cubs play to their potential. Hated to see him leave the Braves. He would make a savvy manager.

On another baseball note, still in shock over the tragic death of Jose Fernandez. He was an enthusiastic ambassador for the sport and could have been one of the best pitchers of all time. Now we'll never know.

Blue spinner im not trying to be mr baseball facts. Im sure David Ross played lots of ball the Tallahasse area, he was born in Bainbridge Ga. in 1977. He played at Auburn and Florida in college, two college world series and a great MLB player.

as you said he was Born in Baindridge ga his Mama did not like the Dr in TMH at the time he did grow up in Tallahassee and went to Florida High , i have seen him play a time or two

Yes sir,friend of mine Billy (Boo) Taylor was a Thomas County ball player, played with the A'S. He was born in Monticello Fla. So thats where they list him from. HE IS BIG FISHERMAN 6 FT. 5.
