Econfina 10/29
My oldest girl's first red. Stopped at my goto point, first cast, live shrimp on a popper, first red! It was two inches shy, that's the only small one we had that day. The youngest girl was wearing out some bait fish. I was hooking the smaller ones up and tight lining for the girls. I was using a chartreuse/white gulp fluke, had bites every time. Alot got off at the boat or shook off when they hit. Lost some monsters. Wife caught a 22" trout on cut bait. The bite was great, the baitfish were everywhere, saw huge mullet jumping. It was a fun short trip, 11-3 and headed home to eat.
