St Marks Fathers day

Post by wacissaguy »

The wife and I finally were able to get out today-seems like weather, illness, and work have prevented any fishing time since the last cold front. What a beautiful day to be out-flat as glass all day-at least until 1 when we went back to the ramp.Legal fish were hard to come by-until we got in about 9-10 feet of water. Caught some BSB,Trout and the wife hooked her first Tarpon-looked to be in the 20 lb range- it spit the little trout jig on the first jump but it cleared the water except for the tail. Man she was thrilled to death. We caught a bunch of shorts and had a great time-stopped by the sandbar and cooled off-then went to the hill.
