Finally got to get out on the water since we had a break in the football schedule... in the water at 7:15... real low tide already. Water temp was around 64-65. Tried top water to north of the mouth in 1-3 feet, Not much early on.... a few shorts and 2 of the bigget sail cats I ever hung on plugs...
around 11 it was on... 2-3.5 foot... same area.. caught about 15 shorts, 12 keeprs, largest at 18. All on a variety of grubs... out around 2pm.... beautiful weather. Couldn't ask for a better day.. unless I woulda hung a red that is... but Im satisfied...
