I’ve also heard that it’s a Bio-luminosity reaction to their excitement of eating or feeding. Kind of like how a squid changes colors.

I've caught plenty of of 5 to 6 foot bull and blacktips out on those flats. Like Grim Reeler says don't carry bait or a stringer of fish for that matter. However, for every shark I've caught I've caught 100 trout. Safe fishing...

Mashes Sands

This is my first post and I'll get pictures next time. Anyway, left the Mashes ramp at 8am. First fish in the boat by 8:15. Wind kicked up right away (10 to 15 steady) but the fish still ate. All in all 8 reds (all under slot size) 10 trout up to 23". Soft palstics under floats and gold spoons....
