Man I just used a bottle of sea foam and one bottle of carb cleaner on my 88 special and man did she come to life, idles and runs much better. Cheap tune up on an older engine.

Is there any difference in the performance of a stock OMC SS prop and say an Apollo, rapture or similar after market ? If so, how much?

a 19 ss would only let me get up to about 4300 rpms, a 15 alum would only let me use 3/4 throttle, a 17 alum was 5500 just what i needed, hole shot was good. if you think i need a 15 ss you da man ill get a 15, wish i had one to try though.
