GPS question?
Well here goes another dumb question for you guys. When entering known locations on you GPS the known location has two numbers followed by a degree sign followed by two more numbers followed by a . then two more numbers my GPS has 3 spaces for numbers following the . do I just leave the last digit on my gps a 0 ? example location N29.06.79 ......... GPS N29. 06.79_ after the 9 it has a space for another number. Ive stored many locations on my GPS just never added a known location.

There are two different and distinct ways to enter positions...
It is important you get it right, or you could end up on a sand bar or worse.
One way is Degrees,Minutes, seconds Like this 88 55' 44, which is 88 degrees 55 minutes and 44 seconds........
The other is Degrees, Minutes 88 55.44, which is 88 degrees, and 55.44 minutes.......
In the first one 44 is the number of seconds. In the second one 44 is the number of hundredths of a minute.... when entering in hundredths, you have room for a third number on some gps's, hence 88 55.444 (thousandths)
THEY ARE NOT THE SAME, These are 2 different locations altogether...albeit not large differences, but could be quite a few feet....( I am sure someone here can give you the maximum error, it would be 59 seconds versus 59 hundredths of a minute...)
Be sure you have your GPS set to the same format you are entering the coordinates from, or you won't find those fish, and may find something you do not want to find....
