Paddle?
My new Tarpon 140 gets here Friday and I can't wait to try and learn some fishing spots around here. I went kayak fishing on the Indian River months ago and was HOOKED! I finally ordered mine and I hope to see a few of you guys on the water. Now to my question.... I'm looking to get a good paddle. I...

Shopping for new kayak?
I've recently returned from a successful redfish trip. Went down to my brother-in-law's in Mosquito Lagoon. Used his kayak and explored all over and fell in love. Now I'm making plans to get my own and learn our area. Any suggestions on a location to buy or look? Any models good for handling the sal...

DuckTapes partner.........
It was a great day fishing! Only wish we could have gotten that big one on the boat at least for a pic. It was nice to put a face to Wevans... I've read so much of his post because I've been told he knows where the fish are in the areas I'm trying to learn..... Hope you all have a great Holiday! Sta...

I do use a boat down there. Are you cheaper if it is a fixed unit on a boat? I have uses for a handheld but really I'm getting it for the boat.

GPS area.........
I fish mostly around the Panacea area because my family has a place down there. I'm trying to go broke on a GPS but I know it will help a lot and usually you get what you pay for. I would rather hear from you guys than reading too much online. Was that the map number or model number you were giving ...

Reels? Shimano Curado?
I've got another reel question. I've been reading all the past post and can't pin point my choice. I'm looking to buy a baitcasting reel under $200 for trout and redfishing. I've read a lot about the Curado and I like the feel of it. I've noticed most of the saltwater baitcast reels don't have a low...

Saltwater Zulu
Anybody have easy directions on how to rig a zulu with a offset hook? Wrong hook? Is the hook facing up or down? Thanks! Sorry for the simple question but I have seen it done and totally forgot.

Thanks!
Thanks for the start. I can throw a cast net, I just need to get a bait size. I've always thrown the larger nets. I plan on spending every weekend in August learning more about the area mentioned. I'm not familiar with seminars. Where can I find out about these? I did start reading some magazines a ...

General questions for a local trying to learn
I'm trying to learn the bald point, chaires creek, piney island area. I've got a GPS, skiff, fish finder but I've only cruised the area to learn some of my hazards. Can any of you experts give me suggestions on what a bad wind direction is versus a good one in this area? I've got so many questions, ...
