Thanks for the info - I think we have found a trailer but we still need a motor. Vic is building a 16' wooden boat and would like a 25hp motor on it...

explorer boats draft about 6 - 8 inches....we posted ours for sale several months ago on here with pictures of it so you could get an idea of what the boat looks like. I am not sure of any dealers around the illinois area

Sorry I have not posted anything before now - Vic is doing great. He had double bypass surgery on April 13th :roll: . The doctor has released him to go back fishing, so he is very happy :lol: . The healing process is slower than he would like, but at least he is alive!
