Has anyone heard about Capt. Vic Davis?

I got a e-mail from someone late this afternoon saying he was having some sort of heart surgery Friday. Anybody heard anything?

I hope the ole' boy is gonna be OK. Hate to hear about any of us fisherman being ill. Hope it is not anything major.

I am gonna try and call and find out something in the morning.

He is doing well right now, he had a stint put in

Cool deal. Not as bad as I thought.

It wasn't just a stint in an artery. He had to have a double bypass today.
Vic is only 39 or 40.

I talked to his wife, Patty, this afternoon around 2 p.m. He was still in ICU. He made it through fine. He will probably be in ICU for a day or two.

He is at Capital Regional Medical Center...and probably won't have visitors yet since he is in ICU.

That wide open livin' caught up with him. Caught with him a few times in his life. Those of you that know him know what I mean. The boy is like a cat.....

Sorry I have not posted anything before now - Vic is doing great. He had double bypass surgery on April 13th . The doctor has released him to go back fishing, so he is very happy . The healing process is slower than he would like, but at least he is alive!
