Re: Whatcha think about him now :-)
Look no further than this thread to see that divide and conquer is succeding as a viable plan to keep the people of the United States looking the other way as politicians have their way with our country.

Re: ID this dead snake please
Atticus,
If the head is still semi-intact and you can see the eye is the pupil round or vertical?
Did the head have a distinctive & prominent triangle shape?
I would rule out any Python or Boas based upon the size of the scales.

Re: ID this dead snake please
I would check out this site CAREFULLY before stating a Boa or Python.

Without seeing the head , which is the very important business end of a snake, I would suggest looking at a Florida Cotton mouth.

Re: Smoked fish
The option for smoking at home is always open however, for those fishermen not familar with a smoking service it can be a real eye opener. On US 1 just north of Key Largo in the 50s & 60s there was a fish smoking house that would smoke any fish you caught in any quanity. He had standard per poun...

My wife and I went to the Refuge last evening and there were plenty of memorial flowers placed around the toll booth. We'll miss his good sense of humor and quick wit.

I believe there are two launches left before the shuttle is scuttled! If you have never seen a launch is is the most excitng three minutes of engineering you will ever see. Make plans to go and watch.

I have taken to using Google to search recipes that are new and different. Simply plug in your search parameters and it will bring up THOUSANDS of possibilities. I generally try those that are attractive to my taste memories of past meals and adjust from there.

Re: Pedal drive question
I own a Hobie Outback and am very satisified. I bought the Outback after renting numerous kayaks both peddle drive and paddle style. I narrowed down my selection to two Hobie peddle drives the Outback and Revolution. The Revolution was easier to PADDLE and was faster when PEDDLED and more nimble how...
