Unfortunately the state has already said it will adopt the federal regs. So it looks like Grouper fishing in general is screwed.

A redfish magic lure with a gulp shrimp on it instedad of the plastic grub that comes on it. This has worked every time for me, it might just be the gulp though.

I thought that the riptides came with a 5 year warranty. If you take it apart isn't the warranty void. I have one myself but it's only 2 years old, what makes the lower unit take on water, is it the front oring on the shaft? I'm just wondering so that down the road when I have problems I will know ...

If you want a good stainless one that is not custom made for around $100, look for the cobra brand. I think I got mine from Overtons.

I have caught quite a few bass there using a tequila sunrise culprit worm, texas rigged, fishing around rocks and cypress trees, but that was about about 5 years ago.

I was down there sunday and wassome kind of cold and windy, there were 2's and 3's in the river. When We were putting my 18 foot G3 in at the state park somehow we went off the end of the ramp, it was a very low tide.
