Good report. Since you've hit that spot now twice in two weeks, you should let it rest for a few months. However, you should use it as a "base" point to find new spots in the area. Ok, inshore out of Lanark/Carrabelle. The grass flats on the back side of Dog Island to the immediate west of Tyson's Harbor hold some super large trout. The grass patches are small, but productive. Also try the creeks on the backside of the island.

When I troll for spanish I prefer to use a 2 oz. trolling lead and about a 6-8 ft. 40 lb. mono leader. The lead will keep the spoon under the surface and the long leader not spook the fish. Try this out for chum.

1 Large box of plain elbo macaroni
1 large container of plain oatmeal
5 cans of jack mackerel
1/2-1 gallon of menhadden oil
Sea water for consistency

It was about 68 degrees two weeks ago, so my guess would be 70+. Regardlesss of what the water temp is, spring fishing is in full swing and ALL of the usuall suspects are present and accounted for. Have fun, you should wear 'em out!
