Re: Rod Question - Best for the Money
I have 2 gloomis gl3 rods that have been put through the ringer and they are still in great shape after 5 years. I have not had to replace one single piece of those rods and they have been beat up bad. I know they are pricey but you get plenty of bang for your buck.

Re: Photo All-Release Tournament.....won't work?
In my experience there are many more lookers and lurkers on an internet forum that there are posters. I sat idly by for months while thread after thread on here consisted of boast of maximum number of fish caught, limits for everyone on board, and fish reluctantly released with complaints about an ...

Re: Photo All-Release Tournament.....won't work?
I rarely keep any fish of any kind or size, but when I do I don't want to be bashed, nor does anyone else on here I am sure. No threat taken, just tired of seeing people dragged through the mud over a damn fish. Bay Gator, No one bashed anyone in the original post "Mr. April' , maybe you shoul...

Re: Photo All-Release Tournament.....won't work?
Did anybody call you out by name? It was a general statement that could pertain to plenty of people. You felt the need to bash other fisherman for wanting to catch a legal limit of fish at a tournament and slight in a negative fashion, but when another opinion is voiced you want to play the victim a...

Re: Photo All-Release Tournament.....won't work?
Conservation is good and there are laws in place to keep the fisheries in good shape. Bashing other fisherman for not having the same approach as you is where the problem is.

That is a fair question if you can prove every trophy fish came from another trophy fish. Can you?cotton wrote:I catch and kill fish every week. But, if you don't see the harm in killing trophy fish, I can't help you.

Re: Photo All-Release Tournament.....won't work?
My question is why are you so worried about what everyone else is doing? If you really want to push the conservation agenda go back to fishing with a stick and string and then you get credit. The laws say you can catch and kill fish. There is nothing wrong with that at all. You bash all the other fi...

NFGFC Rules Question
For the upcoming tournament in Port St. Joe, do you have to launch your boat at the city boat ramp? Can the boat be tied up to a dock in St. Joe Bay and you launch from that dock after you check in and pay the tournament fee?

Re: St. Joe Bay Big Fish
To help preserve your "spot" I will say that it was spanish land yesterday. We caught 3 trout out of the area with that one being the largest by far. No hard feelings and next time I'll do a little cropping to the picture!  Was totally joking! I was channeling my inner ...
