I believe if you change the formatting on your Garmin to match Google Earth you can enter the numbers you want and then change the format of your Garmin back to the way it was and the GPS will make the conversion for you.
Sir Reel....I gave it a shot and it worked perfect ...

Re: Garmin GPS and Google Earth
I want to get the #'s for the east/west end of Dog Island Reef and a few river/creek entrance's. It looks like if you zoom in close it would be pretty accurate. I'll try to changr the format, input the #'s and then change back. Thank!

Garmin GPS and Google Earth
My garmin has a format of N38*51.333 W94*47.333
Google Earth has a form like 38*51'41.22"N 94*47'33.33"W
numbers are just ficticious and the * symbol is for degres.
Anyone have any luck using google earth numbers to manually plug into a gps?
Thanks in advance

The first post in the thread you sent does not have any pics but the fourth post has a red X and the word image. When I click on it, it links me to th Conflunce Watersports site.

Re: viewing pictures
No pics. I'll try to adjust some settings. Are the pics that you see embedded in the post or a file you have to double click on to open? BTW...nice site you have here! Very informative. A friend turned me on to this place and everytime I read up on reports it get's my adrenaline pump'in!

Re: viewing pictures
I think the thread below has pictures in it. I was reading many threads Monday and many of them mentioned nice fish or reffered to a fish in the picture. But I see no pics. Could it be my Internet Explorer settings not allowing it? I also see many red X's at bottom of posts also.
Thanks
