Re: Ochlockonee bay
The docks around ochlocknee bay are very hard to fish. The current in the river is pretty fast and its hard to get positioned and fish them effectively. If you do figure out a good way and catch fish please post your outcome.

Re: Stunned pinfish
The traps were covered with fine grass and a lot of shells and barnacles. You might be right on that.

When we lifted the trap it was full of pinfish and proceeded to unload the pinfish into the live well. We noticed that about half of the pinfish were belly up and appeared dead ...

I don't think there is much grass in oyster bay. If you see it at a very low tide you would understand. It looks like the surface of the moon

Panacea 8-7,8
Usually fishing beats working, but lately working is more enjoyable than fishing. Went early Friday and caught a nice 18" trout and thought this summers luck had turned around. 6 hours later besides a few catfish that trout was still lonely in the cooler.

Ive got one you can have. Its an I-pilot riptide with gps features. It is located about 1 mile upriver from the oyster bars in the Ochlocknee in about 9 feet of water.

Its that time of year. We ran into a big school of slot, just over slot redfish at the mouth of the Ocklocknee. Seems like they show up there on the outgoing tide
