Re: Recycled Dead Shrimp (Power-Bait)
You picture shows the shrimp in the shell. I would prefer the shrimp to be in the shell. Chalks instructions were to cure them meat only. I wonder if this process works either way?

Re: Looking for Flounder
Welcome to the forum. You will be able to find flounder with your Kayak in the creek mouths as they wait for the bait fish to dump out of the estuaries as the water level forces them out with the tides.

Re: Starboard
I want to replace the seat cushions on my boat with Starboard with a layer of Sea Deck for padding. Will Sea Deck stick to Starboard? I am tired of vinyl decay issues.

Re: Alder wood
Alder Wood is my fish smoking staple. It is a superb smoke that is mellow. This is the only smoke that Salmon folks utilize in the Pacific Northwest for good reason.

Re: Cleaning Sheepshead, reds, other armored fish
I like the Dexter wood handle non stainless filet knives. I get them from Angie's Marine. This steel is the only blade I can make razor sharp. You do have to oil the blade and no dishwasher.

Re: steering issues???
This is the inside casing of the stick steer assembly. It seems there should be black silicon securing the housing and the cable entry. Any suggestions?

Re: steering issues???
Thanks everyone. It did take some force. I put a 12 gauge brush on my drill to clean up the tube. I believe that was tin cans suggestion from an 08' thread. New cable is on order. I trust it should go in smooth.
